Nosotros had a lot improve squad in 1987. But that doesn't mean that Saturday nighttime can't work out for usa.

Probably my favorite game...and it had picayune to do with the game itself. My dad the twenty-four hour period before chosen and said he had tickets to the game for u.s.a. instead of one of his many Clemson friends. I was preparing to move to Ohio to be the project accountant on the construction management part of a projection that the engineering firm my dad worked for had and he thought I may want to come across the team play once again earlier I went to Buckeye land. Me in my garnet and blackness and my dad in his orange and white.....and I truly believe he was happy seeing me excited by the game. Went to the IHOP after the game and and so drove home to Greer. Still i of my favorite memories.

I was at that place. Froze my butt off

I was in middle school. Merely the whole week after, my friend would yell out, "What fourth dimension is it?"
And I would yell, "Twenty to 7!"
Aahh, good times.

I was at that place every bit well and will never forget that game every bit one of the most satisfying wins. Rodney was a highly regarded QB but some of his quotes probably made locker room cloth.
Also remember 1979 and the Jay Feltz 82 yd punt that helped win the game. SC won 13-9 and all Clemson's points were field goals by Obed Ariri. As we left the stadium I couldn't turn down buying a bumper sticker that read USC- 13 Nigeria -9.

I was at that place and Brad Edwards brought back a pick half-dozen that brought the house down...

I was in the 8th grade and my Algebra instructor was a huge Clemson fan. I showed up to class that Monday wearing Gamecock sweats and a huge grinning. Barely looking at me he sent me on an errand to get me out of the class.

I was at that place and remembered the upper deck swaying and then much that my friend and I moved to the ramp to spotter. It was actually kind of scary.

You lot think flight the flag Black Expiry flag would exist well received these days?
Probably not, everything at present is racist, ironically it'south a black guy with the flag. Obviously nothing to do with race

Nosotros had a lot better team in 1987. But that doesn't mean that Saturday nighttime can't work out for united states of america.
Totally agree with that. I was in that location that night. And information technology was cold that dark. I however accept the wool Gamecock chapeau I wore at that game.
I may be biased BUT, I believe Clemson volition be VERY beatable Saturday. I said before that if Shane can go to a bowl game in his first year as a Head Coach, that will exist a rocket booster to space for his recruiting to end this recruiting season and adjacent. If he beats Clemson and Dabo in his first endeavor, that sends recruiting, for Shane, to the moon.

Tater fans do seem to exist a lot quieter this twelvemonth. They're enlightened, WFU game notwithstanding, that their squad is a bit vulnerable.

Too remember 1979 and the Jay Feltz 82 yd punt that helped win the game. SC won 13-ix and all Clemson's points were field goals by Obed Ariri. Every bit we left the stadium I couldn't pass upwardly ownership a bumper sticker that read USC- 13 Nigeria -ix.
I was at that game and remember that punt. It was similar, "where in the hell did that leg come from". Feltz did not bear witness that kind of leg all flavour. Feltz was a highly recruited QB, from West Virginia I recall. But, he never played the position for us.

Totally concord with that. I was there that night. And it was cold that night. I still have the wool Gamecock hat I wore at that game.
I may be biased Simply, I believe Clemson will be VERY beatable Sabbatum. I said before that if Shane tin get to a bowl game in his first twelvemonth as a Head Coach, that volition be a rocket booster to infinite for his recruiting to cease this recruiting season and side by side. If he beats Clemson and Dabo in his first try, that sends recruiting, for Shane, to the moon.
That terminal thing would solidify him definitely.

For those of you who were there. One of the greatest nights always at Williams Brice!
Last time the wife went with me to a game………left crying 😢………..what do u say? "It's just a game baby".

I helped bring those goal posts downwardly in 87

You think flying the flag Black Death flag would be well received these days?
Not during this pandemic for certain.
- #32
Was that the Joe Lee Dunn defense where we had RW throwing off his dorsum foot all night?
We demand to pressure their QB similar that this Sabbatum. Stop the run and force him to make mistakes throwing the brawl.

United kingdom of great britain and northern ireland-ku-leeeee-leeeee! Hmm. I like the sound of that.

A lot of people would say that the 1987 team was our almost talented team always except at QB. Todd threw 24 ints that twelvemonth......... 24 !!!!!!!!
- #36
That was only because Todd was always looking for the 55 thou line.
He is the WORST play by play announcer in the nation.
Enthusiasm (of which Todd has plenty) can only take you and so far.
Dearest me some CFL!
In a "normal" yr, the Grayness Cup would be held this coming Sunday. Due to the Pandemic, a shortened, and late-starting season, their playoffs begin on Sunday.
